Hey Mboy, nice job! It's a good site as it is. With that in mind, here are a couple of nit-picks:
    - When the site first loads, there's a white square that pops up before the preloader. It would be nice to see that go away.
-I would prefer brighter thumbs on rollover, it's too dark in mho.

    Nice work man.

I like the photos a lot mildly smutty, i cant grasp the concept of the site though or say anything positive about it. bland lacks color. Site does not work in mozilla or firefox.

SSC Cosmic and KDNetwerk thanks for your compliments. I had fun making this thing, I had alot of creative freedom in this project.

I will take your point to brighten up the thumbs a little bit, you're right they are kinda've dark.

Towknee, the concept of the site is to display photography. Most likely the reason you don't like it is because you use Mozilla which is known to have problems passing Flash variables to and from servers. Try it in IE...

My first time visiting and it asks me if I want to relaunch it.? I like it though.

Very smooth transition animations. I agree the thumbnails are somewhat dark, but it actually fits the site nicely. Also, i too am having a lot of trouble with your site in Mozilla. I'd use IE if it weren't for the hundreds of popupads + virus' i get from it Good job on the site, thumbs up.

it's weird, this is the only site i've made that has so many problems in mozilla and firefox...someone said it's the loadMovie command, instead of doing:

    Code:
    movieClip.loadMovie("file", this)

    //it should be

    loadMovie("file", movieClip)
    Stupid browsers tick me off

    what the $&#(T*$?!

    It's a decent site.
A bit dark but does suit the style of the photographer.
Putting 3D and photography website in the title made me suspicious.
But the 3D is subtle enough not to ruin the complete design.

Apart from the bald green and red in your buttons haven't got much comments.

Maybe add a bit more usability to it. Have a slideshow along with
    next and previous buttons.
Also make the fading go faster as it is taking quite some time now to
    browse all those pictures.

    Overall good job.

it's at 36 fps or something like that, but if it runs slow it's not the frame rate it's the computer, this website should be perfectly smooth on a 1.5 ghz. i run a 900 mhz and it's a bit choppy but that's only cuz my computer is old...

and Sense, i agree the fading takes too long, I will probably shorten the fading so viewers can go thru the pics faster...thanks,

    powdork

out of curiosity, what browser are you using? the relaunch option is only supposed to appear after the giant pop up is generated, basically so people will have that option if they accidentally close the big pop up.

    thanks for your input.

I am getting the relaunch on IE. I'm guessing its my popup blocker which is bundled with the Google toolbar.
Here's the bad news. On firebird I only get "Detecting Flash Plugin"

hmmmm.....thanks. i'll have to work on that one...

well here's a quick Q just to throw it out there:

there's so many browsers out there, as a web designer, which are the top priority browsers to make sure our work is compatible with? We can't possibly satisfy all browsers...any opinions on this?

i have "pop-not" popupblocker and i had the same problem as powdork.

i got the preloader and then went right to "relaunch site" screen. i was about to give up on it when i read pow's message. turned off popnot and got the site to work fine.

i liked the title cards flipping in and out. that was very cool.

    Hi brintcorb,

    Glad you liked the cards...

Does pop-blocking software only block automatic pop ups? Did the "relaunch" button work with your pop-up software still on?

Sometimes the final touches to a website can be such a pain!!!!

But thanks to you guys I'm pulling thru it...

The relaunch button worked fine for me.

I like the website. There are only two things that bug me.

-I think the thumbnails are a bit too dark at first.
-When you are on a section you can still click on the link for that section and it will reload it.

Other than that, it looks nice!
