flash's pixel snap is driving me nuts

    Pixel snap is rather inconsistent....

Sometimes what I'm drawring snaps to the center of each pixel, and sometimes it snaps to the edge of each pixel. Ie, I'll be trying to line two points up, but it wont be possible, because one is snapping to the center while the other is snapping to the edge! Why is this? Maybe I have my settings wrong?

Is there anyway round this? Pixel snap is next to useless with this problem...

    anyone?

Check in your left hand column....if the little "magnet" is clicked, unclick it.

ty, but as it happens there is no magnet snap button in many instances. I'm refering to when you edit already drawn lines/fills with the subselection tool (the white arrow).

If you're trying to line things up, have you considered using the align panel?

I'm afraid the align panel doesnt work on points of a shape.
