I have created a movie that appears juddery when it plays, even when viewed from the hard drive. It has some large JPEGS in it (it is solely for offline use). Is there any tool within Flash that will enable me to make it run more smoothly?

Or if not, can anyone suggest any other factors (such as memory, hard drive space) that will affect how the movie plays?

What is your frame rate? if you have a low frame rate this could be the problem. Try and increase the frame rate of the the movie and add frames to the motions if needed. Full motion video runs at 30fps I use 24 for most of my flash work. I hope this helps, Regard, Bill

In the beginning the web was without shape and color, and the hype covered the darkness of the net. Then there was a Flash and life came to the web and vision became reality.

Flash has a problem with displaying JPEGS at times, especially if objects move over them, causing them to flicker. I think its a player/memory problem.
