    ´Preloading a whole CD-ROM

Is it possible to preload a whole cd-Rom before playing? We are making an interactive CD with lots of films on it and some of the films take a while to load. Can we get them into the HD Casche before the cd starts?
    Thanks,

Only by copying the CD contents to the HD, but then you're still looking at a significant delay when the CD starts for the first time.

so what's the best way of going about it? Only preloading the movies? I already have them so compressed and don't want to lose any more quality...

Yes Jugglor allows you to achieve this. It will uncompress the projector file and any other file added into it onto the Windows/Temp hence giving it a better playback.

    Try

    Hope this helps.

If you bundle a CD worth of movies into a single EXE using a third party projector tool then you're going to have to live with the delay every time your user pops your CD in and starts it up.

If you install the files to the HD once, then you never have to worry about the load speed again.

Check out Inno Setup for a FREE tool that will let you create a simple but professional installer for your projector and movie files.
