most of the flash sites have a background music running continuously. is that a .wav file? i was trying to put some Indian classical music, but the .wav file turned out to be 37 MB. what does normally one do?

First you need to make sure you are not stomping on copyrights. Then if you have the right to use the music then you find a loop in the song. A loop being a measure of music that will play over and over without sounding like it needs to break. Thats how most music is done on sites due to the limited bandwidth issues. There is a new product comming out from swifftools at www.screenweaver.com that will act as a server for mp3 to stream. Regards, Bill
