    Logo critique

Re-branding my studio; after many revisions here is my first stab at a new logo. The colors will vary.

    Comments are greatly welcomed.

    Great concept that needs tweeking.

    - Use a solid color, No opacity light colors for the "P"
    - try skewing, extrude, 3d, something to make the P "Pop"

This is just an uncoloured suggestion, things always look more 'balanced' when they line up in some way. It doesn't have to be as obvious as my attachment but you should always try to create a visual equilibrium in your design, unless you want to unsettle the viewer of course.

The skewing of your 'P' creates the 'upset' in your design, here without upsetting the overall balance, and gives it more personality.

first impressions are that the text struggles against the logo form. the asenders of the type but into the flat bottom and doesn't quite work.

try using all caps. or even all lower case.

also use a gray as opposed to the black.

id agree with most of whats already been said... however i feel the biggest offset is the layout of the text... seems it should be either entered and sized to the "cube" or set to the right of it... seems a bit strange the way it is now... ill try to explain in more detail if you dont get what i mean...

Here is what I arrived at guys. I decided my last attempts were very amateurish. Please give some solid critique on this mark.

I'm not completely sold on the colors but I believe the mark is strong. I do realize that the hexagon shape is overplayed at times, but it fits strongly with my studio name.

It looks pretty cool. You might wanna take out some of the diagonal lines.....something like below. Also, check and see how it will look in grayscale on white and black backgrounds (for print).
