    Codename - Gordon

I guess someone must congratulate the guys!

If noone knows, HL2D got picked up by Valve and everyone who has steam will be able to play it.

Hows that for alot of people playing a flash game!

Also, I gotta say, what a lucky way to get a big game out there. Steam is a fairly good Content Delivery System, and especially with its size, it will take alot of strain off your server =D

    Congrats!

Wow! That's great news for them

I wouldn't have thought valve would do that but it brings back some of my trust in them (after the joke that was condition zero).

    Congrats to the C:G team!!!

I just noticed this was in the games section when I started steam just now. Thought I would just post to say well done to them.
    Out of practice.

Congrats to the guys - HalfLife2D has been something I've long admired since I heard about it. Well done, and hopefully everyone will enjoy and appreciate your hard work - the odd million of them who will now see it!

    :)

    Yes!

Yesterday night I was thinking about posting this today, but now I saw this threat.

It's great for the people who have worked on codename gordon, that everything worked out so well for them. Can you imagine; a FLASH GAME DEVELOPER teaming up with Valve?

Very very very very big congratulations to all who worked on codename gordon. It's great to see such a well-developed Flash game

you have to have Steam to run it......you can download steam from valve's website or search for it on google. It's a free valve proprietary content delivery system...it delivers some of valve's games...including Codename: gordon.....

once you installed and registered w/ steam you can access the game and play it...full screen ;-)

I hated the aiming in Codename, locking it to 90degrees is painful, aiming straight up and down is necesary.

Great game, I played it through to the final boss last night but gave up at the strider....

But yeah, that aiming is very frustrating. You do need to aim up and down, but I like the mouse aiming, for a pretty good example of what I think people (including myself) would get along better with, check out madness interactive at www.flecko.net or newgrounds. Its not a particuarly innovative game, but the aimming is very user friendly.
