    Fire MC

    i want to know how to make a fire effect. let me clarify that, a good tweened fire effect, not a circle gradient thing.

    Are you talking about animated or static?
    I'm guessing you mean animated as you mention tweening. If so I wouldnt advise using tweens for fire, if you watch flames in a fire they flicker and dance rapidly. It'd be much better to do a frame by frame animation for it

    If your talking about static images, I find using layers of transparency can be quite effective, also I tend to use linear rather than cirluar gradients

    Have a little experiment, it depends on the style you have aswell

    It's possible to script fire, and when you do it comes out looking pretty realistic... I wish I had a good example.
