    Animation Help

I wonder if anyone knows when using a big background what to do so other animations on top don't run slow. Like for example if someone checks out www.pulseworks.tv they have big image back and animations on top but they keep running smoothly.

Using just one image would help and no movieclips as background? Thanks for comments on this.

A big bitmap as your background wont slow down your movie. But if you use a lot of animations on top that use _alpha or just have static alpha symbols it will make it harder on the cpu.

RThe rules are simple. The less thats going on,and the smaller the animted parts are, the better it will run.
