    They stole my design !!!!!!

    They stole my design !!
    what can i do ?
    here is the case :
Well two years ago i sold a simple but nice HTML
    site to a transport company.
ok they were hosted on Geocities and has an horrble banner
and they bought the domain, which i setted up a new
index.html on a hosting of mine and i redirected from then
    to the original geocities site.
Time run out and i deleted the index from my hosting
and they used the mydomain.com and kept using the
    geocities site with my design.
i have no access to the site but i have the original
source files and all the pics ...
    what can i do?
    do i lost?
can i do something for they quit from using my design?

    I'm confused.

You design a site for them. I'm assuming you got paid??

The site was hosted on geocities, you moved it to a real server (again I assume you did get paid).

They then blocked you from accessing their server, and "quit from using your design" (do you mean they stopped using your design??)

Well, I am a little confused still but.

If you got paid, they can quit using your design whenever they choose. If they are still using your design, isn't that what it was designed for? If you are complaining because they won't allow you to access the new host.. Why should they??

If you can speak better than you can type, you could consult an attorney if they don't legally have the right to use the design.
I really enjoy forgetting. When I first come to a place, I notice all the little details. I notice the way the sky looks. The color of white paper. The way people walk. Doorknobs. Everything. Then I get used to the place and I don't notice those things anymore. So only by forgetting can I see the place again as it really is.

What to do? Mark this one up as a loss. Next time, never ever do any business without a legally binding contract. If you're that distraught about it still... get a lawyer.

well the good news is that you learned a good lesson without losing too much, keep focusing on getting better...if youre starting you should be used to working designs for small pay
