Domo Arigato!
This thread just made me think of that God-awful commercial:
"Are you in?"
I really enjoy forgetting. When I first come to a place, I notice all the little details. I notice the way the sky looks. The color of white paper. The way people walk. Doorknobs. Everything. Then I get used to the place and I don't notice those things anymore. So only by forgetting can I see the place again as it really is.

Someone please tell me it's not just me and there's often downtime that results in 'document contains no data' or 502 server errors. I realize it's still in beta. Just want to make sure I'm not having connection issues or getting hijacked.

Tell me this doesn't look fishy.

it's like the yoyo craze all over again
Yeah, what's all the hype about?
Don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day.

apparently 3gb of storage. So what I have unlimited with my service provider :/
-

1gb of storage, actually. 10mb attachments, and what not.
but it's highly doubtful that you have unlimited storage for e-mails with your ISP. Even mine - and as good as they are lazy - I still get in trouble when I travel for having about 35mb on their servers and not downloaded anywhere. They get rather "upset" about that, and send me reminders that I'm over my mailbox limit.
A lot of reminders.

They want to have the box empty so they fill it even more. Good tactic. (j/k)

Alright, I'm still getting that server error. It's been over 12 hours. I'm concerned. The Military Industrial Complex must've hijacked my browser and stolen my account.

dude, seriously. no errors here. but a 502 is a gateway error. sure your proxy is not acting up?
please tell me you're not on NIPRnet. it's a pain in the ass. check with local IT staff to make sure they didn't attempt to add some half-ass filter, and it's allowing port 80 access to gmail, but not port 443, and the proxy is just hanging or has some old data still cached somewhere.

Considering I got it from my parents house (Verizon DSL / Linksys Router no SPI), my place (Comcast cable / Netgear Router-Firewall) and my office (DSL.net / Some form of firewall), I can only assume there's some major backbone fubar in the NE. Hmm...sounds like helicopters outside...

I'm in the southeast, but I've had people in NJ, NYC, Boston, and the rest of my invites (sorta varied in countries) and I've only seen one time out.
Just find it weird that you're getting 502 errors.
scanned your machine with hijackthis, ad-aware, what not lately?

.: Weirded Out :.
Just wanted to put in that Gmail is very very nice
Interface and filters rock (myemail+filtername@gmail.com automatically gets labelled or deleted)
I think Gmail are onto a bigger hit than Hotmail & Yahoo combined!

No. But you could just be screwing with me too.
Are certain users isolated to certain servers?
