anyone with a 56k modem out there?

I have made a small music player in flash and
    have the following problem...
Because I have a broadband connection I cannot
check the loading and buffering of the tracks.
Here it works fine, but is there anyone out there
with a 56k modem (or whatever slow connection)
that can check it out if it works fine or not.
    The url is www.albertvanbeveren.com/musicplayer.

    thanks

    Can’t help u Albert

Can’t help u Albert, I don’t think that there are much people out there with a 56k modem. Btw. I like the music.

p.s. Good luck finding someone with a 56k modem
In the words of Homer the Great! If it's too hard, it's not worth doing!

Finally found a use for all the forwards I received Inboxity.

it works pretty well, if theres going to be 56k users among your viewers then put the music in a separate swf and make a preloader before launching it, thats what i do

works good on my dial up

    hey Albert.
i have a 56k dial up connection. you player worked great. there was no significantly noticeable delay when i launched it and selected a tune. Based on that I'd say you could sqeeeze by without a preloader.
but then again i have 1 gig of ram, a fast dual processor machine, with a fast video card and an excellent sound card.

    simulating download speed

Here's how to test your fla at varying simulated download speeds in the Flash MX 2004 preview environment:

From the editing environment, click "Control -> Test Movie" (or ctrl-ENTER).

Your movie will play. From the title bar in the preview environment, choose "View -> Download Settings" and select the speed you would like to simulate. Then, hit ctrl-ENTER to see a simulation of how your fla will behave at the selected connection speed!

    Holla!

On the dial up thing, it is being said (in my office) that we're supposed to still design for 56k. I'm wondering how many people actually ARE using dial up for access. I use it sometimes because it's free but heck, if it wasn't I probably wouldn't pay for a dial up service when you can get DSL/Cable for $25.00
