    Ice effect

    anyone know of a good way in photoshop to create some solid lookin ice...ive looked for tutorials and dont really see anything...i just want like a sheet of ice...

    I have made some decently looking ice with photoshop before, I will try to look for the file. In the mean time what do you exactly mean by sheet of ice? I am not picturing it well in my mind.

    you know how water freezes on the top, and it has that whitish look and some diagonal texture where the sun hits it....and its kinda frosty lookin...well yea thats wut i mean

    Yah ok, I understand now.

    Well that is kinda different then what I made before. (still trying to find that file.) It was more of a cube though.

    Give me a day or so to see if I can fabricate what you are talking about. After which I will tell you how I did it.

    whyteman,

    remember man we took a couple of solid colors drew the shape about what we wanted it to look like and then used the chrome filter.

    changed the color and used some liquify to finish shaping the cube.

    when i get home ill post the pic.

    Well dude, fabricating a sheet of ice is one hell of a challenge.
    It is decent at best but maybe you can get some ideas and do more with it.

    If there is anything in the pic that strikes your fancy let me know.
    I will be more than happy to explain the process.
