    Bending Text

How do you go about bending text?

Say you have a title that moves in from the left, and stops at the top, center. At this point, I would like the letters to bend a little to the right, as though they were bumping into each other.

Hmmm.. Not exactly sure what you mean by bending to the right a little, but you can create most of the different possible text effects using actionscript and dynamically creating a bunch of textfields for each letter.

Well, what I mean by bending is to have the last letter on the right move to the right ONLY IN THE MIDDLE portion of the letter. As though the letter on it's left had bumped into it and squished it forward, to the right. As though you arched your back and were bending forward with your stomach sticking out, and your back arched in.

Yes, I've done that, but I can't get the text/letters to bend or curve.

As far as I can see, the Q tool just makes the object/letter bigger of smaller. Or, transforms it to an angle. There must be a way to bend text. I would appreciate more help if it's out there.

the registration point needs to be moved in different spots on the character to get the effect you want
    if it is grey out
you broke apart the txt and made a shape
start with a text box cntrl + b once
you could use fireworks to write the text on a curved path
