Ok, changed the preloader. I think I fixed what you were talking about. Once it's loaded you shouldn't see the preloader again.

I agree too, but as far as promoting myself, this gets the info out quicker. The old site was fun, but having to wait 20 seconds each time to get to any info got old quick.
Ha, thats funny, I say old but it was only up for a month.

Who knows, as much time as I have on my hands right now with a bum knee, v3 may soon be up. It's like every site I do, I learn something new. Then look back and think, I could have done this better this way. All part of the learning process I guess.

I don't know, I like this "loading" feature better. The previous loader's percentages were off so the graphic didn't fill up all the way before the page loaded.

But anyway, it's gone so it doesn't matter.

    Good site.

    Not a bad site.

Me personally, I think your design layout would benefit with a little more contrast, or seperating the sections with more color than the little highlights. The fact that the text is a light grey on a medium grey is a little too much monochromatic for me too.

The buttons for your portfolio section seem a little funky. If you mouse out they kinda vanish instead of smoothly fading away from the highlighted color.

    Besides that, good job, dude!
