Create animation and the pan over it?

Hi all,

Need some help - I'm coming from After Effects, which might explain why I have this question.

I want to create a growing animation (starts with one box and grows downward to many). The animation with be 4 times the size of the background, and I want to pan over the animation as it grows. How can I do this? I tried exporting and re-importing an swf (not good).

This maybe too late- But you may want to try animating the scene in full without worrying about any of the camera direction for now. Once done, convert the whole animation sequence into a movie clip and then you can motion tween and sort of camera movement you need.
