feels like something's missing

hello all!! working on an updated version of my site. it feels like it could use something more but i can't put my finger on it. hopefully some of you could give me some suggestions as to where to go with this. the links do work, and in case you get stuck you have to "scan the barcode" so to speak for navigation. also give me a few ideas on layout and design. thanks for your help everyone. the constructive critisism is greatly appreciated!

be careful w/ the mystery meat navigation - you begin to cut into usability which is number one after content. Unless your client segement is of the type, think about adding subtle hints in the barcode as to where the menu might be.
