    New T-shirt site, slighlty different

Not the usual. Interesting use of Flash and funny pictures to go with them.

    Opened today.

Why do so many ecommerce sites make you register before buying something?

nice idea but, for an ecommerce site, I'd like to be able to see the damned t-shirts quickly, not have to wait for a damned flash intro for every shirt.

Also the t-shirts don't do much for me, all very cliched vector lines. hmm no thnaks
The use of humour is clever though and I do like their pictures and text

I don't really find picture of people sticking their hands in lawnmowers or smashing their fingers with a hammer that funny, the t-shirts are ok tho

Agreed on the intro. Any moving image whatsoever serves no purpose in selling a printed t-shirt.

Wow, anyone check the price on those yet?

Roughly 40 bucks per shirt compared to threadless' 10.

But still threadless has cheaper shirts, better designs and easier navigation.

Ha! Nordberg's a big fattie boom bah!

Uh, yeah, I think the site's pretty cool, is sort of the a concept first and then the t-shirt...

25 quid for a tshirt might be good UK value... Who knows? (not I)

I dunno how the design conveys "uh, that was pretty dumb of me, stickin' my fingers in the lawnmower..." and the hammer one seems to be an exercise in geometry....

One of my mates wants to start a "skate/street" line of clothing, which is interesting, because he's not a skater, nor does he live on the street. And some of his designs are fairly much like other skate designs, but more minimal (less thought out) with his name written on it in some gothic lettering...

I suppose, like anything, are you breaking even? Coz if you are, then that's more than a lot of people are doing...

never fear, www.3purplehearts.com just opened too! no clever flash, just cafepress, a clever parody of a classic t-shirt and 3 purple hearts!

    greetings mr. 3 purplehearts...

trim the footer down to 40 pixels high. 300 pixels wide by 40 pixels high is the maximum here.
