    Futurama

So, I know I'm a bit behind, I just bought season 3 yesterday. Pardon me if this has been discussed already.

Does anyone know what 3D program they're using? Only a trained eye can notice when they switch back and forth between 2D and 3D, but I am so impressed with how well it blends!

Damn, I wish I had a team of writers that could come up with witty episodes. I'm trying to launch my own animated series, but things that I think are funny aren't necessarily so to others (as in, it goes over their head). I'm just in a creative block right now. I can't even think of a concept for a show. How pathetic is that?

    Another question:

Which series do you like best?

    -Futurama
    -Simpsons
    -Family Guy
    -King of the Hill

Mine is Futurama, hands down. It far surpasses the Simpsons, but Family Guy is a very, very close second.

I love Futurama, but Family Guy tops it, imo. "Damnit Janet" is the funniest episode of any show i've ever seen.

Futurama is a great show. However simpsons is simply a wonderful classic. Sorry, I don't know what program they use. Good luck with your show though.

Futurama wins hands down out of them all, it just really appeals to my quirky sense of humour
But it's been taken off terrestrial and I can't afford sky *cries*
Simpsons is a second close though

I don't know what program they use sorry, but good luck with your show

    poon knows.

South Park is Maya, I don't think Futurama is. At least I'm pretty sure he said something else.

King of the Hill can go blow for all I care.

I think perhaps The Simpsons is my all time classic but Futurama has been my favourite now for a couple of years.

It happens to most of us - just do what the Futurama and Family Guy writers do: bit parodies on old movies, TV shows, urban legends (like the brilliant Roswell That Ends Well).

Anyone tried the game? It looks rubish! The cell shading is crap. They should have made it 2D and kept the original art, or made it with the 3D art that they sometimes have. Hmm, maybe futurama would be good as a flash game...

The Simpsons are ok if absolutely nothing else is on, but personally I think the rest of the shows mentioned (other than South Park of course) are largely a waste of valuable airtime.

If you guys want true comedy then you should check out Aqua Teen Hunger Force on the Cartoon Network. It's pure genius.

Yeah, it's pretty good work considering how the artwork isn't that complicated, but is used effectively.
