puff of smoke

I want my speech bubble to disappear quickly into a puff of smoke.
How would I even begin trying to do this ?

I know how to use Flash to a certain degree but can't think where to start here

Make the speech bubble a movieclip and inside it make a motion tween of the aplpha going down until zero. You could aslo add a puff of smoke that does that opposite and gets from alpha zero to alpha 100.

yes you could do an alpha fade, but for a puff of smoke... ideally youd want to do a small movie clip in say, after effects and tehn import it. In your case you ihgt want to try making a little animation in flash. Or try messing about with the soften fill edges effect in flash.
