    Hey peeps, how do you do this effect?

    Is this just a simple tint or does this have to do with some sort of masking effect? The effect Im looking at is the effect when you click on of the flash links. The background picture has a white tint before fading in to the picture. Hoping someone can help me out, I tried a simple tint tween but it appears not to look the sameCheck the effect here

    hi, you can put the image on one layer, and a white rectangle on another layer, fade the image in while fading out the white rectangle

    I think you can also animate the on mouse over, down etc... by creating a mask fading from 0% alpha to 30% alpha in the colour you wish to have on the specific mouse action.
