Just wondering, what is the Midas myth? I have heard of it before.. but Medusa is the only image that I can think of.
and speaking of myths and legends, I think that is a VERY interesting theme idea

Midas was a hedonistic macedonian king, who was granted the power to turn anything he touched into gold by Dionysus, the god of wine.
Moraly bit - he couldnt drink 'cos it turned to gold, daughter got turned to gold couldnt eat etc.
He realised he had to get rid of this 'gift' so he whent to Dionysus, who told him to 'wash' it off in the river Pactolos ( i think).
Also, for some reson i cant remeber, Apollo gave midas the ears of a donkey. (something to do with a music competein with pan).
It was a long time since i read any myths/legends, so i might be wrong, i think thats prety much it.

Thanks relsh, mate
I also googled Midas as well, some interesting results. I've heard of the story, but for some reason the images that I have is way off from the actual myth (like Medusa, minotaurs, Greece etc).

And I'm sure that's exactly what they were going for.
