    www.rotoni.net

Yes, I know it's been online for a while, but I still don't know if all bugs are sorted out, so I would like some people to check it out for me in various browsers and OS...

The site is made entirely in Actionscript using Flash MX 2004 except the scrollbar that appear in some sections. That scrollbar is going to be rewritten into pure Actionscript also, when I find the time for it...

The Flash movie itself only contains code and two font symbols and the rest is fetched from the server at runtime. (The menu, the content, the images and so on...)

You're giving us the finger in your "about me > presentation" section.

Hehe... Never actually thought about that before...

I'll fix it when I get the chance to.

It could all be done in html I dont see why you used flash.
When you go in for a job interview, I think a good thing to ask is if they ever press charges.

    Well... Good point actually...

There are a couple of reasons why I did the site in Actionscript and those are primarily:

    1. Just because I could.
    2. I can make it look however I want it to look. Kind of like a skin on Winamp and MediaPlayer.
    3. The challenge of writing the code, experimenting with classes...
    4. I learned ALOT from it...

    And so on...

And also, all browsers render a Flash movie the same way, so I don't need any dodgy JavaScript to find out which browser the visitor is running, just so that they'll be able to see the content...

That's the way I see it...

Ahh well said your the first person that has given me an educated answer to that question not only that but its good to hear an answer like that it shows you like to try out new things and press your limits .

i mean it's better having less GOOD content on the site than lots of bad to ok... idk man i'm noob still but i learned that it's better having quality work than lots of not bad or good work.
