I need help creating some moving objetcs....

....I want to make an object in swish 2.01 that moves continuosly and can be directed by someone by using the arrow keys on a keayboard, also does anyone know how to make it so the object cannot pass through certain objects?

Welcome to Swish Help Forum.

As far as I know -- I don't think this can be done with Swish 2.01. This type of work requires scripting and Swish 2 cannot use scripting or variables.

You would need Swishmax for this.

Actually, Swishzone has provided many sample and demos of what Swishmax can do. One of these demo is called "Example- drag-red-green-circle.

What this demo does is moves two objects with the mouse. For your project you could modify the script to make it work with arrow keys. These demos and examples are fully able to be modified and used as you wuld like.

Just go down the list and look for the file that ays "Example-drag-red... etc. There are three files there.

Also... for your other question. I think that that would deal with scripting of "Collision" objects. If you do a search on this forum and also on Swishzone.com you may find lots of posts that may be helpful for you in this project.
