Hoping that I post in a forum, where people have fooled around with sound in Flash: It can be done. Looping different wav files without ticks, blanks or anything. Just 100% (well..it's flash.. 99% ) music for your website in the smallest filesize. Check out some of these examples:

There are a about 4 factors that will effect the quality of audio in flash
Compression Rate
Sound card Type
Connection Speed
CPU

What i do is put the audio in seperate.swf file
or in Movie clips

I have been unable to eliminate pops, and clicks from the audio.
