    August Desktops

I figured I'd go ahead and get this thread started since it's bound to happen anyways, in addition to I finally got a nice desktop.

This one took a while. I made it from the ground up. Everything was done in Corel Photo Paint and started as either a gradient filled shape or an airbrush stroke. How many of you design your own desktops?

Basically in this one, I went for the clean, hidden taskbar approach. The theme turned out to be music. It's funny how you start with something (in this case, it was supposed to be a chrome theme) and it turns into something else.

I still say I'd expect Andy Rooney's voice to come out of your son's mouth if he opened it.

Well, it differs for each program.

But for most, I guess that instead of putting the target for the program to open, you simply put the address of the website.

    which program are you using?

If you're using IE, try grabbing the little E next to the link in the address bar, and drag that to your desktop. Then try dragging THAT into your dock.
