Preloader Problem

I'm trying to use one of the preloaders that are posted in the movies library (Preloader v5) and I can't get it work correctly.

My site is built simply with a container movie into which the other movies are loaded. I placed a preloader at the begining of each of the individual movies that make up the site.

Online, the preloader thinks each movie has 5K, which is about the size of the container. So the movies are loading, but just as jerky as they would if there were no preloader.

When you put the url for one of the individual movies in the browser, you get the right file size, but, for some reason, the movie won't move past the preloader.
