on press, button stay on rollover effect

is there a simple code that, when clicking on a button, the button will hold on the rollover effect to show it's been selected?

No, buttons can not stay in a state.

You have to make a movieclip instead, and using buttons inside that to navigate and stop in the movieclips timeline.

This way you can have animations on roll out as well.
