    What happened to the Scroll bar component?

    I'm trying to create a dynamic flash along with php to create some dynamic text display. But I looked in Flash MX 2004 Professional but it's no longer ther as it was in Flash MX. I know there is a text area component but need to create a dynamic text yeah with a vertical scroll bar. Any ideas?

    I suggest that you get/download the new Flash updater (7.2) MM added a scrollbar component to the UI components.

    The TextArea component does create a textfield with a scrollbar.

    Download 7.2, and download the Flash MX components for 2004 from Macromedia Exchange. They're smaller and work the way the old components did.
