    managing an animated interface

I'm repairing a site started by someone else who apparently dropped the ball. The client doesnt have enough money for a redesign so I'm basically just making the original idea work.

This site has all of its navigation animate in. My question is what is a good way to arrange the timeline(s)? Should I have one movie with two scenes? One for the animation and one for the page at its still state? or should I just put a stop() at the end?

I think that depends on how the interface interacts with it self.

My personal perfence is to put all the button animations into a movie clip .. and then add actionscript to the movieclip to make it behave like a button. I truely dislike the button MX had, i havent looked at MX 2004's. It was to limited.

By moveing the animations down to movieclips you can keep the root of the movie clean for other.. things.

Atleast thats my personal perfence.. though I think im backwards have time, but it works for me
