you've got a start point there. why don't you try placing them differently? or maybe basing yourself on a font you have?
to make it modifiable select the text and press ctrl+b . that will separate it into independent characters.
if you want to convert them to shapes click ctrl+b again.
well, i actually did that. flash isnt really much of a problem. it's the creativity bit.

hmm i'm trying to help
what i meant is that the fonts look pretty different from each other. looked to me like you had drawn them
also i suggested you could try different positions. horizontal logos are nice, but maybe placing the csu letters vetically, or scaling them until they make a box shape could be nice.
yeah,i know ur helpin nayades. i meant the other chaps and lasses
who've been "viewing" the thread.
As for rippin' logos......I subscribe to ethical practices and respect of intellectual property.
ok calm down
i thought i was just throwing out a fast idea of how you could portray your logo - didnt intend to spend to long on it so just did a quick rip of the first logo i found on that site
thought it might get the old cogs turning
didnt realise it would offend so many sensabilities
just noticed its a semi close rip of another logo shown on a thread on this board - small world !
Draw! I'm not kidding. Use paper and draw and write and design until you throw your sketch book accross the room. I honestly believe its the only way to create a successful design.
yeah tino. you should have posted more work. have a look at tracy's. she's (i guess tracy is for a she, but i'm not sure :S) posted around 40 logo variations.
