Covering html with swf, possible?

Hey all,

My company just aquired another company and we are trying to add a flash message on their existing site.

I have the flash sequence I would like used and it is published as transparent, however there is one thing I can't figure out.

How can I place my swf on top of the existing site, not "in" it, but physically on top of it. Similar in nature to a flash popup (like weather.com used to have)..

the ultimate goal is to have the flash movie animate over the existing html and then cover the entire window..
