    Masking a fade in

    I have a gradient that goes out to 0 alpha....I thought that would make the instance inder look like it fades out.....did nt work...

    How can I get this tow rok

    You can not fade masks, only the objects under it.

    ok the mask is a gradient that goes from 100 to 0 alpha

    I slide the text under it from the 100 alpha side towards the 0 alpha side and I would think cause the mask fades out cause of the graient alpha that the text would look like it fades out.

    Mask can not use gradients eithe. Masks are either on or off.

    Do it the other way around. Make the text as the mask and the gradient to be masked.
