    Cross-platform problems

I have a swf that plays fine on all PCs that I've tried it on, but it has various issues when playing on a Mac (in Explorer, Safari, and just Flash Player). Most of the issues revolve around the input components not functioning properly, or not showing up at all.

Where do I start when it comes to debugging cross-platform problems?

    Thanks.

Start by determining the Flash Player version of each machine to make sure you're dealing with real cross-platform differences and not player version differences.

Visit this page on Macromedia's site with both computers to view the version of the installed player.

I work with both Mac & PC and I've found few real differences between the players on the two platforms. The players seem a litte smoother and slightly better implemented on the PC side, and the authoring app seems nicer on the Mac side, but Macromedia's done a pretty good job of cross-platform consistency.
