button fade in /fade out

hi,

i made this button http://www.global-sports.de/b1.htm .

in the over status i included a mc which makes the colour and text change(fade in). after the stop in this mc i made the same thing backwards so the button will fade out but it doesnt work. i dont know where to place the on release.

I've attached a fla which shows how you make the button as a movie that fades in to halfway, stops, and fades back according to rollover or out. Ther's also an onrelease action you can alter as required.

thanks for the reply, but when i download the .fla file you´ve attached i can´t open it. what is wrong there? i´ve got flash mx and not flash mx 2004. could that be the problem?

Sorry, probably because I'm on a Mac. I've zipped it and it should work now.
