    Controlling pitch of Sound object

    Hi,

Apologies for the crosspost (this is in the Sound Forum as well) but I realised it should be here...

I am creating a kind of virtual DJ app in Flash MX - several MP3s are preloaded using the attachSound method and the user can select which tracks to play on each deck and control them with basic mixer functionality like a crossfader, kill switches etc.

I need to be able to control the pitch/speed of the MP3s so that the user can mix the 2 tracks at the same speed, however I have no idea how to do this!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I haven't either - do you think Director would be better? I haven't got much experience with it which is why I chose Flash
