Is there a way to convert a MPEG movie into a bunch of still images that I can then manipulate with FlashMX.
What I have in mind is to:
1) take short movies of live action.
2) convert the movie frames into still images.
3) alter and edit the still images (to look like more like animation)
4) put the images together in sequence to create a flash movie
5) add new layers of animation on top.
6) the result should be a combination of live action (altered to look like animation) and animation.
hmm.. can your processor handle a task like that? i know my 3.3ghz would have a hell of a time while running flash at the same time..
if you simply import the movie it only has one key frame.. hmm good question..
using a different program it can probably be done.. i don't think you can do it directly with flash... adobe primiere probably has the tools needed... i'd imagine you'd convert it into an amimated gif? and import all of those stills?
im just throwing out idea's to get those brain juices flowing for ya...
sorry i can't be of more help
Thank you for the help. I did a little experamenting with the free demo download at: http://www.wildform.com/resources/g...e09a16d610&ref=
And was able to use it to convert a MPEG movie into Flash. Then I made a very short flash film simular to what I had in mind. See the attached file.
