"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from
magic." --Arthur C. Clarke

For those who have read Harry Potter or seen the third movie, you may
remember the Marauder's Map. The map showed people walking in real
time with their names next to their footprints.

The FCC recently cleared ultra wide-band tracking technology for use
in hospitals. The single license holder for that technology is Parco
Incorporated (www.parcomergedmedia.com) and we have just deployed that
technology into one of our Emergency Departments (ED) in Washington
D.C.

This means we have just begun to track people *real-time* walking in
the ED. We now have the potential to create a *real* Marauder's Map.

We have built version 1 of the Flash application. We think it looks
okay, but are certain that a talented designer could build something
that looks closer to what we all saw in the 3rd Harry Potter movie. We
will then issue a press release.

Our work has been covered by MSNBC, USAToday, the Washington Post etc.
and we have also been the focus of a case study by Microsoft.
(www.imedi.org/info) We think this project has substantial success of
receiving some level of press coverage and we would like to give it
that extra polish that we know you can give it. Ultimately, we are
hoping to set up a booth at Siggraph to demonstrate this technology
live using the demo.

If this type of project sounds interesting to you, please email me at
gillam@mailblocks.com (email challenge-response required). We would
love to see your work.

Thank you for your time.
