    Disable buttons on movie layer

    Ok,
    I've got a movie loaded on layer 0 with buttons which loads an other movie on layer 1 when pressed.
    The problem is, although the new loaded movie covers the whole stage, the 'invisible' buttons on layer 0 are still active.
    Is there any way to disable buttons on a layer when an other movie is loaded on top of the original one?

    To disable buttons you need to use a simple bit of code
    code:

    whateverlevel.buttonname.enabled = false;
    or
    movieclip.buttonname.enabled = false;

    that should do the trick

    A lot of code if you have a lot of buttons and they're not numbered named!
    You could add an invisible button (with no script...) and disable the hand cursor on it (my_button.useHandCursor = false), over the whole stage area in the loaded movie itself... That would disable all buttons on underlying levels. When the movie is unloaded, the buttons are automatically enabled again, without have to re-enabled each one of them...
