    launching mpg files from flash projector (creating on mac)

    Hi all,

    Just wondering if someone could help me with the best way to launch mpeg files from a flash projector. I'm creating using Flash MX 2004 and a mac on osx. Its ok for the projector/launcher to just run on a pc although would be nice to test on a mac I've got 11 or 12 movies that I need to launch from different links and I'd like them to launch in the program that the user has associated with the mpg file type be it qt or wm whatever. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, you can use Flash Studio PRO v2 to create a PC and Windows Projector and use the command flashstudio.exec to launch virtually any type of file using's it native associated application. I hope this helps

    Seems that a getURL behaviour does the job, just not on a mac for some reason. Still, good enough for my needs Thanks for the reply anyway
