    burried movieclips

Hello, I have searched around on the boards, but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for. I was wondering if it is possible to access burried movieclips easily. Cause if I had lets say a movieclip that was burried in like five to ten other movieclips, its kind of hard to go through and give each instance a name to control that one movieclip. Is their any way I can globally tell something in a burried movieclip to do something without going through every object it touches till root level. thanks.
