    Is anyone familiar with this font?

    Also, does anyone know a similar font that I can download?

    That's no font, it's rendered artwork. See how the A's are different and the U is cuddling the M?
    Probably either painted by hand and scanned in, or done with brushes in Photoshop/Painter.

    I'm not sure I've seen a font face like that, kearning it would be a nightmare.

    Yep what you say is true

    I did manage to find a font called Brushed (I think) that is pretty similar.

    Do you kow of anything even remotely similar?

    kerning wouldn't take ages, but milleniums (whichever is longer anyway)
