    Oh yay. A countdown.
It worked with 2A because they're big huge and massive, and since it was only a few days long, but it's quickly getting old.

That said, this should be a cool site

hi, long time reader first time poster...

i really liked the image effect on that bomb-like image, but i dont know how it was accomplished. does anybody have a tutorial or know how it was done? i assume it was done by taking the original image and making a few "messed up" copies of it in photoshop, but you know what they say about assuming...

The bomb image is done using a 3D application like 3D Max, Lightwave, SoftImage, Alias etc.

How long is the has this been going for, the countdown that is?

EnvyThis meant the distortion effect on the image, not the actual image, but I think your right EnvyThis. though I think there is a filter also for photoshop that does that, gaston did tell me a while back, but I forgot!

You're right, it's the wave filter in photoshop: Filter > Distort > Wave. Just play around with the settings to get the desired effect.
