    Multi-colored BG scroller?

I need to make a scroller similar to the one on the left on this site:
    http://www.austinmetrobaseball.com

The current one is DHTML for IE only and I want to make one using
    either Swish or Flash.

    Can anyone help?

    hi,

i've attached a quick example. if you need to update it often (news scroller), i'd recommend you to load the text from a textfile (do a forum search on "external text".

Thanks. I don't have Swish loaded here at work but will try it
    tonight when I get home.

Yes, it needs to be loaded dynamically. I have two ways to load it,
which do you suggest is better?

I currently build a .js file from a php program that gets set into
the site's root dir. Then the scroller reads it into js arrays for
    processing.

I have modified the php script to create an xml file so it is no
problem doing that. I will have to make more mod for a csv file.

All I have is SwishLite 1.52 and my trial for Swish 2 has run out.
It will not open in it.

this scroller is impossible to do in swishlite. it can be done in swish 2.0 with static text, but to read data from a textfile you'll need swishmax.

    2.01 won't open it, either

Just got 2.01 but it won't open it either. Anyway to save it to an
    earlier version than SwishMax?
