    tweens ?????

    hi

    i sometimes get files in the library called tween ... what are they ?

    Tweens autocreate when you Motion Tween an Object that has not been converted to symbol prior to you tweening it. Try this draw a square on the stage of a new FLA. Press Ctrl-L to see the library of your FLA, it is empty. Right click the layer the square is on and choose 'motion tween'. Now check your library, there's a symbol called Tween 1 there now. Hope this helped clear this up...

    ok .... i guess i have to convert everything ... can they do any kind of damage to the fla/swf file ?

    Those tween things are so very annoying. I wish they'd be made invisible- nobody's going to edit those files directly, right?, so there's no point in keeping them out in the open, cluttering up the library.
