    protecting my swf

I've noticed that a lot of sites now have found a different way of putting there swf on their web page. The code to put the swf on the page doesn't directly link to the swf file, meaning you cant simpley link to the location where it is stored and download it.

I want to do this to protect my swf from being downloaded. Any knowledge on this guys?

    Many thanks, Sam.

You may want to try using SessionID's and check if it is a valid one, if it's then you know it is a direct link.....
