    PSYCHE!!!!!!! Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig surprise...

For some odd reason or other, the 3DFA site is back up!

    http://www.3dfa.com/

Let's hope it stays there this time... and that we get updates (I hope). And I'd be surprised if this scare was given to us by a mf'ing hacker......

    Jeffrey
Jeffrey Davis (3DFA user since 2.x... or was it 3.x?) (Yes, I finally reveal the offline identity of JSDvs9172, being myself of course. Oh, and sorry for stealing your signature idea, blanius, which I see you stopped using.)

    Change Of Server

When this whole episode began, I did a WHOIS search for 3DFA.COM. It was still registered to "Rob" but the DNS appeared to be changed to WINSAVE.COM's. This would either had to be done by Rob or the original DNS was bought out. If it is Rob, I sure hope that means he is going to continue the software. I've tried all the others people have suggested and they all fall short.

    clear the cache

I've just been informed that the site was down and is now back up - direct from "support". Having cleared my web cache this morning and reloaded the page, hey-presto, it's working. Let's hope this continues.

kinda funny that someone with two whole posts gets a response from support while those of us that have been screaming to support for just an acknowledment that the software is still alive are ignored....

    Sorry to upset anyone !

My email to them did start with

    Hi

I would like to purchase a licence for my trial version of 3dfa v4.

Also, it was CCd to sales@3dfa.com - although the reply did come from the support address.

The 3dfa site was up for some days and now down again????? What´s going on? I asked for a new regnumber since i am goin to change computer. No response and it´s 3 weeks ago... it´s sad to say but i think that 3dfa is no longer an alternative...... Is there maby someone who has some kind of patch/crack for the 3dfa..... so i can use it untill i have desired wich program i am going to change to...
it´s sad that this program with so many features and so easy to use is out of business....or is it?????????

It's up as far as I can see, but I may have a cahced page...........

I've been trying toi get a new number for over a month now, no reply, sent several emails to support as well, nothing............

Odd that they answer someone elses email, I wonder if you sent in a buy request, if they would reply. Even though I'd feel a bit cheated, I'd rather pay for 3dfa again than have to re-learn an entire other program.

I've been doing the trials on several right now, and really can't get a good feel for them, even though koolmoves seems to be the best alternative, I'm just not as comfortable with it..................
