    text on a path

    Is it just me, or is this completely impossible in Flash?

    Is exporting an swf from Freehand the best way to accomplish this? Or is there any way to keep it editable once it's imported into Flash?

    It's true that Flash doesn't have any kind of automatic function for placing text along a path. I don't think there is any way to get around the fact that the text gets disassociated with the path and broken into individual characters when it gets imported into Flash.
