    on keyPress in an exe???

    I'm trying to have an invisible button in a flash projecter take you back to a scene on keyPress.....its not working....does it not work in an exe?

    also, is it possible to use the F1 key?

    any help appreciated...

    I never deal with scenes myself, but I think I've read somewhere on FlashKit that you can't use actionscript to link to a scene. Though, I also read that you can link to a frame label within a scene. So I did some tests of my own and found that this is true. So if you lable your first frame in the scene and set the button to gotoAndPlay that frames name, you should be all set. I also tested the "F1" button, to see if you could use it. It will work, but not in Flash's testing window. It only works after publishing, and will also work as an exe file.

    EDIT: I took look in Flash's Action Script Dictionary and read that the only Function Key not avaible for use in a key press is the "F10" button (for more information see "Appendix C, "Keyboard Keys and Key Code Values" of Flash's Help section).
