A very, very, very quick question... honest!!

Hi folks,

this is just a quick question, can anyone tell me what this type of effect is called, so that I can research it and find out how to do it.

Basically i just want to know how they did the effect of when a button was pressed it went to a different part of movie clip etc

think logically... its just a large background which is moving arond, you can only see a part of it through the 'window' that is the flash movie. You can do this with motion tweening the background (which has easing as well).

If anything this is just a motion tween effect, although is probably done with AS, since the background can move from A to C without going past B, if you get what I mean.
